PRELUDE: (Instrumental)
Klaus Mueller - Musical Director/Organist
Walter Williams - Drummer
OPENING HYMN......"Battle Hymn of the Republic"
1. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on!
2. I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps
His day is marching on.
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His day is marching on!
3. I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal"
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel
Since God is marching on
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Since God is marching on!
4. He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Our God is marching on!
OPENING PRAYER:.........

other.
People: Faithfulness will spring up from the
ground, and righteousness will look down
from the sky.
Leader: The Lord will give what is good, and
our land will yield its increase.
People: Righteousness will go before the
Lord and make a path for God’s steps.
ALL: We here at UHPC have come to
worship God!
HYMN 1:.."Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise"
PRAYER FOR CONFESSION:. (In Unison)
God of love, kindness, and compassion, we
return to You seeking pardon and forgiveness
for our sins and misdeeds. Where at times we
have disrespected or dishonored the women
of mothers in our lives, where we have taken
them for granted, or abused them in any way,
we repent. Whereas women we have
demeaned or abused ourselves, we repent.
Restore us to a place of dignity worthy of
respect. Restore us to a place of dignity
worthy of respect. Help all women to
recognize that they too are daughters of
Abraham. As redeemed people, they are
daughters of the King of kings. Have mercy
upon all present here for all have fallen short
of Your glory. Therefore, we all need
Your mercy. Grant us peace and love in our
hearts we pray and help us to forgive others
who have sinned against us. By faith and with
thanksgiving we offer our prayers in the
name of Christ Jesus. Amen!
ASSURANCE OF PARDON:
Leader: Hear Paul’s words when he writes
of God, who has transferred us from the
dominion of darkness and to the care of
Christ our Savior. So, walk in Christ’s love
with assurance of your redemption and the
forgiveness of sins. Beloved rest assured it
is God’s love that sets us free. Amen.
GLORIA PATRI: .......................(In Unison)
Glory be to Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. .
PASSING THE PEACE:
Leader: Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us forgive one another. The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
People: And peace be with you also.
“I’VE GOT PEACE LIKE A RIVER”.
I've got PEACE like a river (3Xs) in my soul - repeat
I've got JOY like a fountain(3Xs) in my soul - repeat
I've got LOVE like an ocean(3Xs) in my soul- repeat

QUOTE:...............................Walter Williams
SONG OF ILLUMINATION:.... "Open Our Eyes"
Open our eyes, Lord,
we want to see Jesus,
to reach out and touch him,
and say that we love him.
Open our ears, Lord,
and help us to listen.
Open our eyes, Lord,
we want to see Jesus.
PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION:.(In Unison)
Bread of Heaven—feed us ‘til we want no
more. With open hearts and minds we come
with expectation to hear the life-giving
Word from above. Let the Holy Spirit anoint
the Word and apply it to our minds that we be fed and strengthened to do the will of God for our lives in the earth and unto eternity. In
the name of Christ Jesus we pray in faith and with thanksgiving. Amen!

HYMN 1:.."Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise"
1. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
2. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might;
Thy justice, like mountains, high soaring above
Thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love.
3. To all, life Thou givest, to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish; but naught changeth Thee.
4. Thou reignest in glory, Thou rulest in light,
Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight;
All praise we would render; O help us to see
'Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee!
